How to Teach Your Dog to Sit
This is such an easy trick to teach your dog to sit, even if they are an old dog! Some dogs can be willful but these steps should help train even the most stubborn dog to sit.
Things You’ll Need:
A dog
dog treats
Step 1: Get a few dog treats and show them to your dog letting them sniff your hand then stand in front of them telling them to sit.
Step 2: Hold treat above the dogs head and slowly move it far enough be hide his vision that he is forced to sit to be able to look at the treat.
Step 3: Give them the treat as soon as they get into the sitting position.
Repeat these steps several times a day until your dog sits automatically at the command. It shouldn’t take long at all.
